Ms. Leitch has ordered your Cap & Gown, and the payment for the Cap & Gown rental is $45.00. 
Please have the payment made no later than May 13, 2022. The following payment method are available to you:

Hello, Elton Collegiate Families
We have a few updates on the Moms Pantry fundraiser and The Grad Clothing. 
1: The Moms Pantry fundraiser is up and running, the fundraiser will be open until April 13th. There is an online order form that can be accessed on the Mom's Pantry website, using the class code. Instructions will be attached below. For the money that each individual student raises a certain percent will go to their personal grad fees.
2: The Grad clothing store is open! The store will be open until April 3rd. There is a link attached to this email to the store. Payments can be made online.

Please find below the minutes from our February meeting, the Form for Banquet feedback and the links for upcoming Parent Meetings.

A few other updates:

  • There are 4 students who have NOT YET signed the class of 2022 for the back of the clothing.  Please sign at front off OR send a picture of your signature to Mrs. Vas by Friday, March 4.
  • Rianne is moving ahead with plans for the Mom’s Pantry Fundraiser.
  • Grad cap and gown photos will be taken tomorrow, March 2nd, in the drama room

Grad Meeting – February 26, 2022

    1. Individual Fundraising through Mom’s Pantry

Apply the amount raised from Mom’s Pantry to banquet tickets or other student expenses

    1. Another class fundraiser may be planned; Emma and Rianne will share details
    2. Mrs. Vas continues to run Pizza Fundraiser every second Weds
  1. Photos

-  if any grads are having trouble booking, contact Mrs. Vas for the link. Mrs. Vas will connect with Dale from Imperial Photo to reach out to any grads who have not yet booked their sitting..

  1. Clothing – 2022 is ready to sign
    1. Store will be set up by end of Feb.
  1. Venue for the Grad Ceremony:  
    1. WMCA – no capacity limits or vaccination requirements.  As the school coordinates the ceremony, it will be held Indoors at the WMCA; we are familiar with the lighting, set up, sound system and the venue has ample seating.   As of March 1st, the WMCA is no longer requiring proof of vaccination to enter the venue.
    2. Fusion stage is still booked as a back-up plan if restrictions change

Tentative Grad Day timeline:

12:00 grad class photo

1:45 Grade 12 Award Ceremony

3:00 Grad Ceremony

4:15 (or immediately following the graduation ceremony) Grand March

Banquet to follow at a location selected by the grads and their parents

    1. Select venue by end of March parent grad meeting
